Granite slab stones, composed primarily of feldspar and quartz with the presence of mica, are a volcanic rock known for their hardness and dense structure. They are the hardest and most densely textured type of granite, with their hardness increasing as the proportion of quartz crystals in their composition rises.

When freshly extracted from quarries, granite slab stones may be easier to cut due to their initial moisture content. However, over time, they lose this moisture, becoming harder and more challenging to work with. They are exceptionally resilient to climatic conditions, maintaining their color and durability.
