Andesite Slab Stone
Andesite Slab Stones are available in two colors, rose pink and gray, and find extensive use in our constructions. These slab stones offer a wide range of applications in our building’s flooring and wall cladding.
When used as a mortared or adhered covering, the thickness for Andesite slab stones should be at least 2 cm, while for flooring and pavements, the thickness level needs to be at least 3 cm. This requirement is to prevent potential breakage due to the passage of heavy loads, especially in road applications.
The production of rose pink Andesite slab stones is generally conducted in Ankara. Once processed on the surface, these slab stones are cut into desired dimensions for use in both interior and exterior pavements. Standard dimensions are often 3x30x60 or Free Length (FL) to meet various preferences.
